Autumn is mild in 2015

At last it's Autumn....perfect weather for the Brumansias.
There were a few new cultivars to flower....nothing spectacular but still a couple of good ones to keep. This white changing to cream cultivar was a disappointment..
It was an Angels Exotic x Teri Shindler Schiavo.....then I thought about keeping it at least until the crosses that I made with it developed. I used Senorita Rosada as the pollen donor and all the pods are growing well...it has a lovely perfume and interesting parents so it will be fun to see what develops.

Its a very good flusher and the corolla texture is very firm.
On the plus side as well, it flowered at a reasonable size and age..
Perhaps now that I think about it, I might lose that with the Senorita...she has a lot of aurea in those genes.

This Rosalla x Sam is a good case for holding your Brugmansias for a few flushes..

the first time it bloomed it was a very ugly misshapen flower, next year the same...But on the 3rd flush
it showed what it could do...it's a pod sister to The Showgirl.

The Sphaeros were starting to bloom. So were the Hellebores.

And the Alstomerias
