This time it was the US crosses that tempted me...
The first to flower was the Angels Swingtime x Naughty Nick.....this was a real buzz because it was my first cv with more than a single corolla and it was a very pretty one, right from the first time it opened...
Each flower is identical in shape except for Spring when the corollas stay tucked up in the first corolla.
The registered name for this cv is "THE DANCER"
The next to flower were the Angels Swingtime x Mango Crush, these were all orange singles but each one was different from it's sibling..one looked like A.Sw with short corolla tips, the second had longer petal tips and the third looked more like Mango Crush......
Those little corolla tips are just like Angels Swingtime.
Peach Fantasy
This Angels Swingtime x Angels Exotic cross was interesting right from the start as it seemed to take very hot weather in it's stride, so I took cuttings before it ever flowered,
it's a really colourful cv...starting off as a yellow and white double in it's first flowering.
But this year it has grown even more beautiful and the corollas have increased to 3 or 4 as seen
below and right.
The transition from yellow to peach is really attractive and the shape of this cv to my eyes is just perfect...
VANILLA SPLIT and VANILLA SPLICE
These cream beauties are very different....they are Angels Swingtime x Angels Sunbeam.
Pod siblings and identical cvs........they both have seperated inner corollas..
A.sw x A.sun #1 |
A.sw x A.sun #2 |
These flowers below left and right, are showing some of the seperated corollas.
Angels Swing time x New Orleans Lady, this cv has the most wonderful perfume..
It starts to waft at about 4pm then lasts until late in the morning....
Definitely one for near a window or doorway......
ANGELS SWINGTIME x NAUGHTY NICK #2
Little Nicky
HerrenhaĆ¼ser Gold x Angels Swingtime
Lovely corolla tips on this cultivar. This is the first flush so Spring 2016 should be interesting, I hope that it stays yellow. It will be my first yellow double/triple. there is a 3rd corolla in each bloom.
