CULEBRA

Just Culebra:


It has been my ambition to see Culebra flower in my garden, at first I tried cuttings, they didn't take, so I had to wait until I saw one advertised for $10....that was 3 yrs ago and now the first flower is about to make it's appearance.....but it's cold and rainy so it's taking a while to open...


Such a pretty thing as it unfurls into it's full-blown flower...there is a slight sweet perfume...



Nice surprise when I saw this 7 petalled bloom, there were plenty of 6's too.
They looked really pretty.


 And then there were 9 petals, if only I could cross it with Vanilla Splice, I might end up with a fully shredded one..





And now there are 10 petals, it is such an interesting plant.

    Wouldn't it be nice to be able to breed this flower? (you are most likely thinking the same thing, lol) I wish I could grow it. Fantastic bloom and great patience Dianne.

    I just wish I could GROW this Cv. I have obtained loads of cuttings from different growers and can't keep them. Need to try another one for 2015 ��
