Summer 2014/15

Summer has arrived and with it some very warm weather. Up until now the temperatures have not been very stable, one day hot, the next day cold.
The Brugmansias have reacted accordingly and are just starting to flush.

One of the first is this LBG x Bergfeuer, I have never seen the white centre on this before. Always it's been medium pink with the dark centre..it's still a pretty thing and it has a lovely perfume.

Here are a couple more picks from the second flush, that centre corolla is a lot larger in this flush.

The Culebra is flushing as well, now that it has started, the flushes are getting larger and larger.

The rusty one is back, I just love this one....lovely perfume as well as that terracotta colour.

It now has a name Terracotta Angel

 Riverland Frosty Pink

This is Georgia Peach x Moulin Rouge, a dainty little thing.

It's a waxy little thing too...very nice.
It will probably drop it's second corolla in the Autumn, at least I hope it does.

SuperSpot x Angels Moonlight
Lovely perfume and all 6 pts so far. I like this one.

This is the only one of the PPfasc x Mango Crush that I kept. Nothing really special but a did have a slight bit of fasciation on one branch..Its a nice little single so for the time being I will keep it.

Dorothea x Sam a very lovely single good perfume.
One to keep for future hybridising.

Now this Clementine x Bruce's Pink is very interesting for a start it's white, a double with good separation between corollas...unfortunately it was damaged when it was opening, so I will have to wait to see it with all of it's corolla tips.
The perfume is just like Clementine's very strong marzipan perfume..
